Description: 
At 120 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Greenfield to near Everton to near Marionville to 6 miles east of Purdy. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Aurora, Battlefield, Willard, Rogersville, Strafford, Marionville, Clever, Ash Grove, Crane, Fair Grove, Billings, Highlandville, Fremont Hills, Walnut Grove, Pleasant Hope, and Morrisville. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 50 and 90.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for southwestern Missouri.
