Description:
At 605 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Appleton City to 10 miles west of Osceola
to near Walker. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Truman Lake, Appleton City, Osceola, Lowry City, Schell City, Roscoe,
Harwood, Tiffin, Johnson City, Taberville, Iconium, and Monegaw
Springs.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central and
west central Missouri.
