* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Knox County in northeastern Missouri...
* Until 430 PM CDT.
* At 329 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
9 miles northwest of Greensburg to 29 miles southwest of
Greensburg, or along a line from 17 miles northwest of Edina to 28
miles west of Edina, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Hurdland, Baring, Edina, Knox City and Colony.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT Thursday for a
portion of northeast Missouri.
