Description:
At 1033 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
17 miles north of Colony to 9 miles southwest of Edina, or along a
line from 25 miles northeast of Edina to 9 miles southwest of Edina,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Baring, Hurdland, Edina, Colony, Knox City and La
Belle.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT Thursday for a
portion of northeast Missouri.
