Knox County in northeastern Missouri...
Northwestern Lewis County in northeastern Missouri...
* Until 1100 AM CDT.
* At 1009 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
12 miles northwest of Greensburg to 27 miles west of Edina, or
along a line from 21 miles north of Edina to 27 miles west of
Edina, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Baring, Hurdland, Novelty, Edina, Plevna, Colony,
Newark, Knox City and La Belle.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT Thursday for a
portion of northeast Missouri.
