Description: 
At 745 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fillmore, or 8 miles northwest of Savannah, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Savannah, Fillmore, Rosendale, Rea, and Helena. This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 61 and 66.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern Missouri. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Pleasant Hill.
