* Until 430 PM CDT.
* At 345 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of New Hampton to 8 miles north of
Maysville, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Bethany, Albany, Ridgeway, Gilman City, Pattonsburg, Eagleville,
New Hampton, Cainsville, Blythedale, Coffey, Jameson, Darlington,
Mcfall, Mount Moriah, Denver, Fairport, Martinsville, and Santa
Rosa.
This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 72 and
110.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for north central
and northwestern Missouri.
