Butler County in southeastern Missouri... * Until 545 PM CDT. * At 444 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Budapest, or 7 miles northeast of Doniphan, moving east at 40 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR POPLAR BLUFF AND HARVIELL. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. * Locations impacted include... Poplar Bluff, Naylor, Neelyville, Qulin, Fisk, Harviell, Milltown, Oxly, and Fairdealing.
