At 559 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Crocker, or 9 miles north of Waynesville, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Waynesville, St. Robert, Richland, Crocker, Iberia, Swedeborg, and Ozark Springs. This includes Interstate 44 near mile marker 144.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central and southwestern Missouri. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Springfield.
