Southern Warren County in east central Missouri...
* Until 645 PM CDT.
* At 555 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
7 miles south of Chamois to 7 miles east of Rich Fountain, or along
a line from 8 miles northeast of Linn to 9 miles southeast of Linn,
moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Bland, Mount Sterling, Gasconade, Drake, Owensville, Swiss,
Rosebud, Hermann, Gerald, Berger, New Haven, Beaufort, Treloar,
Washington, Marthasville, Union, Dutzow, Parkway, St. Clair and
Villa Ridge.
This includes Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 239 and 247.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for a portion of
east central Missouri.
