Description: 
At 700 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Green Ridge to near Warsaw to 7 miles north of Weaubleau, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Truman Lake, Truman State Park, Warsaw, Lincoln, Cole Camp, Osceola, Hermitage, Wheatland, Preston, Cross Timbers, Ionia, Vista, Gerster, Palo Pinto, Quincy, Lakeview Heights, Crockerville, Fristoe, Knobby, and Racket.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for central, southwestern and west central Missouri. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
