Southeastern Jasper County in southwestern Missouri... * Until 130 AM CDT. * At 1247 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sarcoxie, or 10 miles northwest of Monett, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Aurora, Mount Vernon, Marionville, Sarcoxie, Pierce City, Miller, Verona, Stotts City, Halltown, Freistatt, Wentworth, Avilla, La Russell, Hoberg, Chesapeake, and Red Oak. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 28 and 58.
