At 613 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Cowgill to near Higginsville to 7 miles northeast of Kingsville, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Higginsville, Holden, Urich, Creighton, Chilhowee, Kingsville, Mayview, Centerview, Dover, Blairstown, Fayetteville, La Tour, Ballard, Pittsville, Hartwell, and Quick City. This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 42 and 50.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for north central and west central Missouri. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
