Description:
At 610 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Adrian to near Appleton City, moving northeast at
40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Public. Multiple reports of power lines down and power
outages have been reported in Bates County.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Butler, Adrian, Rich Hill, Urich, Deepwater, Montrose, Rockville,
Passaic, Ballard, Hartwell, and La Due.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 118 and 146.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central
Missouri.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
