At 1025 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pleasant Hope to near Willard to near Ash Grove, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Springfield, Stockton Lake, Willard, Strafford, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Pleasant Hope, Morrisville, Brookline, Glidewell, Sacville, Ebenezer, Bassville, Brighton, Turners, Bois D'arc, Cave Springs, and Eudora. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 59 and 68, and between mile markers 70 and 90.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southwestern Missouri. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until midnight CDT for southwestern Missouri. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
