* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Missouri, including the following areas, in north central Missouri, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn MO, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan. In northwest Missouri, Andrew, Atchison MO, De Kalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall has already resulted in flooding in some portions of the watch area. Additional rainfall is forecast, which is expected to augment current flooding, and flooding areas may expand beyond where flooding is currently at. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
