Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.
For the Marmaton River...including Nevada...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Marmaton River near Nevada.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, the county road west of the gage, Minnie
Ball Road, is impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 24.9 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
