River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fabius River near Taylor. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.7 feet, Cornfield just south and downstream of the County Road 319 bridge at the gage begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Friday was 14.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday morning and continue falling to 2.0 feet Friday, June 19. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
