Counties.
Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and
Carroll Counties.
Grand River near Pattonsburg affecting Daviess and Gentry Counties.
Thompson River at Trenton affecting Grundy and Livingston Counties.
Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Atchison and Holt Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Grand River near Brunswick.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along
the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge
about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along
the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge
begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:48 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning and continue rising to a crest of 24.5 feet early Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
