Chariton River near Prairie Hill affecting Macon and Chariton Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chariton River near Prairie Hill. * WHEN...From Thursday morning to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Fields along the river begin to flood. At 19.0 feet, Farmland and secondary roads in the Chariton River floodplain are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.0 feet tomorrow evening.
