Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River near Agency. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 25.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall early Friday morning. It will rise to 27.3 feet early Saturday morning.
