issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...
Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Ray, Lafayette and Jackson
Counties.
Missouri River at Waverly affecting Carroll, Saline and Lafayette
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Missouri River at Napoleon.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin
to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 17.3 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage late tonight.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
