...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Shoal Creek near Joplin affecting Jasper and Newton Counties.
For the Shoal Creek...including Joplin...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Shoal Creek near Joplin.
* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Riverside Campground downstream from the
gage near Coyote Drive and McClelland Boulevard floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 11.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 12.6 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 11.5 feet.
