Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River near Agency. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency. At 30.0 feet, Many farm levees along the river are overtopped and nearly all rural roads are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 28.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Monday afternoon and continue falling to 9.6 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
