Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River near Agency. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency. At 30.0 feet, Many farm levees along the river are overtopped and nearly all rural roads are under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.1 feet just after midnight tonight.
