At 18.0 feet, U.S. Highway 59 north of Fairfax begins to flood. At 19.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Corning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
