River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Hinkson Creek at Columbia. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Right bank 50 feet downstream of the old Providence Road bridge begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT Monday was 15.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.5 feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
