...The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri... 102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties. 102 River at Maryville affecting Andrew and Nodaway Counties. Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Holt and Atchison Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tarkio River at Fairfax. * WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, U.S. Highway 59 north of Fairfax begins to flood. At 19.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Corning. At 25.0 feet, Levees in the vicinity of Fairfax are overtopped. Flooding of farmland along with homesteads and roads occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 24.9 feet tomorrow morning.
