Mississippi River at Clarksville. Mississippi River at Louisiana. Kaskaskia River at Vandalia. Missouri River near Chamois. Missouri River at Hermann. Mississippi River at Lock & Dam 21. Illinois River at Hardin. Mississippi River at Winfield. Mississippi River at Hannibal. Mississippi River at Quincy. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River near Chamois. * WHEN...From Tuesday evening to late Saturday night. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 19.4 feet Thursday morning. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even higher than predicted.
