Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...
Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.
For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.
* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to late Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, minor flooding affects low lying areas
near the gage site and farmland along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 36.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 41.8 feet early
Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
41.8 feet on 01/02/2019.
