Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.
For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the Marmaton River...including Fort Scott, Nevada...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, flood waters affect the Schell Osage
Conservation Area, the Old River Road North of Schell City and
Lost Creek west of Schell Lake. Flood waters overflow the main
river channel at the gage site.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 22.9 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall to 22.8 feet this evening. It will rise
above flood stage late tonight to 24.2 feet early Monday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
