...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair and Vernon Counties.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.
* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, the main road of the Schell Osage
Conservation Area floods west of the conservation office. The
north campground main road of the Schell Osage Conservation area
floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight
to 24.2 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall early
Sunday afternoon. It will rise to 25.6 feet early Monday
afternoon. It will then fall again but remain above flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
