At 1114 PM CDT, Grundy County emergency management reported that much of the flash flooding in the city of Trenton has diminished However, radar estimates between 6 and 8 inches of rain have fallen, which will continue to lead to localized flash flooding. HAZARD...Excessive runoff from thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
