* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following counties, DeSoto and Marshall and West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Collierville, Olive Branch, Memphis, Byhalia, Red Banks, Mt Pleasant, Piperton, Coal Oil Corner, Cayce, Victoria, Taska, Handy Corner, Miller, Fairhaven, Mahon, Cedarview and Mack. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
