At 608 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hopewell, or 9 miles east of Crystal Springs, moving southwest at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Georgetown and Hopewell around 615 PM CDT. Hazlehurst around 620 PM CDT. Rockport around 630 PM CDT.
