At 306 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near East Lincoln, or 8 miles west of Monticello, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... East Lincoln and Topeka around 310 PM CDT. Ruth and Jayess around 315 PM CDT.
