Description:
At 446 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Millcreek to 6 miles northeast of Electric
Mills. Movement was south at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Scooba, Shuqualak, Millcreek, and Mashulaville around 450 PM CDT.
Electric Mills around 455 PM CDT.
Gholson around 500 PM CDT.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
east central Mississippi.
