Description: 
At 1243 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Keownville, or 11 miles southeast of Ripley, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tupelo, Booneville, Fulton, Baldwyn, Red Bay, Verona, Tombigbee State Park, Saltillo, Guntown, Belmont, Shannon, Plantersville, Mantachie, Jumpertown, Fairview, Keownville, Pratts Friendship, Wheeler, Sandy Springs, and Blair. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 79 and 101.
