Description:
At 736 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Saucier, or 15 miles northwest of Gulfport, moving
south at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gulfport, Saucier, Lyman, and Kiln.
This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 28
and 34.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
