Description:
At 507 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Osyka, or 13 miles south of Mccomb, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mccomb, Magnolia, Summit, Osyka, and Mccomb Airport.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and
24.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
