At 343 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dowdville, or near Pearl River, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, Pearl River, Dowdville, Zama, Edinburg, Madden, and Dixon.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for central Mississippi.
