Description: 
At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of McHenry to near Bay St. Louis. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Long Beach, Pass Christian, St. Martin, D'iberville, Wade, Latimer, Lyman, Gulf Hills, Vancleave, Gulf Park Estates, Saucier, Hurley, and Gulfport Airport. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 22 and 60. Interstate 110 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 4.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in New Orleans. If on or near marine areas, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
