Description:
At 344 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pleasant Grove, or 12 miles northwest of Batesville, moving east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Batesville, John W Kyle State Park, Sardis, Como, Curtis Station,
Pleasant Grove, Glenville, Hayes Crossing, Horatio, and Ballentine.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 242
and 258.
Instruction:
