Description: 
At 1230 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Shuqualak to near Preston to near Burnside. Movement was southeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... De Kalb, Paulette, Forestdale, and Bluff Springs around 1235 AM CDT. Scooba, Cooksville, and Electric Mills around 1240 AM CDT. Porterville, Damascus, and Liberty around 1245 AM CDT. Blackwater around 1250 AM CDT. Tamola around 1255 AM CDT. Lauderdale around 105 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include I 20 Welcome Center At Cuba.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for east central Mississippi.
