Description: 
At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Panther Burn, or 7 miles southwest of Hollandale, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Hollandale, Anguilla, Panther Burn, Delta City, Nitta Yuma, and Murphy around 245 PM CDT.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for northeastern Louisiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central, northwestern and west central Mississippi.
