Northeastern Amite County in southern Mississippi... * Until 1115 PM CDT. * At 1015 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Center Point, or 9 miles northwest of Mccomb, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Mccomb, Summit, Smithdale, and Salem. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 14 and 24.
