Description: 
At 1133 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Detroit to near Bedford to 6 miles northwest of Kolola Springs, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Amory, Aberdeen, Hatley, Gattman, Binford, Sipsey Fork, New Hamilton, Becker, Quincy, Splunge, Wise Gap, Athens, Strong, East Aberdeen, Greenwood Springs, and Parham.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northeastern Mississippi. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
