Southern Alcorn County in northeastern Mississippi... * Until 1215 AM CDT. * At 1110 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ripley, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Booneville, New Albany, Ripley, Fulton, Baldwyn, Iuka, Tishomingo State Park, Saltillo, Guntown, Belmont, Mantachie, Burnsville, Blue Mountain, Jumpertown, Tremont, Tishomingo, Pratts Friendship, Hinkle, Wheeler, and Sandy Springs.
