Description: 
At 1049 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ripley, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Booneville, New Albany, Holly Springs, Ripley, Wall Doxey State Park, Blue Mountain, Jumpertown, Snow Lake Shores, Keownville, Hinkle, Gravestown, Marianna, Hickory Flat, Ashland, Potts Camp, Falkner, Myrtle, Dumas, Murry, and Graham. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 28 and 59.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northeastern and northwestern Mississippi. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
