* Until 1130 PM CDT.
* At 1039 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
of Darling, or 16 miles southeast of Helena-West Helena, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Oxford, Batesville, Water Valley, Holly Springs National Forest,
John W Kyle State Park, Marks, Sardis, Jonestown, Crenshaw, Sledge,
Pope, Belen, Darling, Pleasant Grove, Springdale, Curtis Station,
Burgess, Dundee, Courtland, and Coahoma.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 234
and 255.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northwestern
Mississippi.
